So, long awaited Mad Men season 5 premiered last night! This series inspired the magazine covers, fashion collaborations, girl crushes, boy men crushes and of course fashion bloggers! My twitter feed was clogged with #MadMen updates and live episode reporting! Just like the Fashion Week and film award season, airing of Mad Men generated a lot of twitter buzz! I am now anticipating a lot of vintage -inspired, Mad Men-ish looks on the blogs too! My style is conservative but contemporary, but not really vintage. Still I wanted to create a 60s inspired look and wanted to conclude my 'style a shirt 3 ways' challenge. So here it is, my favorite button down shirt worn under a classic color block shift.

ReplyDeleteLOVE that chevron dress. I never would have thought to style it with the pink shirt, but it looks great!
ReplyDeleteI love all, that the 3rd is my favourite*
ReplyDeleteLove the scarf as a belt on look 2, and the dress over the shirt on look 3--very different from the "classic" look 1, and all great!
ReplyDeleteI love the 3rd look too! All 3 looks are great and so different! Hope you have a great day!!! xo

ReplyDeleteLook #3 is my favorite. Very chic and creative, probably something not everyone thinks of doing either! XOXO - Samar
ReplyDeleteI am a die hard fan! I own every season on dvd and patiently awaited season 5. I can't say that I thought it was as exciting as I anticipated! For some reason it was just all over the place...not as well thought out as before. And we didn't see Betty! I hope it gets better...I do like the interaction between Don and Megan. We shall see how long before he strays!
ReplyDeleteI really love how you styled your pink shirt, all three ways! Under the dress is a fun way to change it up. I did watch Mad Men and I was just a little disappointed - I thought some parts were very slow-moving. But I think it will get better : > Thanks for linking up to Visible Monday!
ReplyDeleteI heard about Mad Men and I am dying to watch all seasons leading up to this one. LOVE your blog! Super chic and cute..Thanks for stopping by mine! :) I am definitely following you now!
