Style Trend To Try - Neon Bags! (And How To 'Wear' Them)

One thing I am really scared of when it comes to styling is - Neon colors! I mean they are absolutely gorgeous but not for the faint of heart! And if you get carried away, you may end up looking like a construction site warning  post! For me, if a trend or style is too intimidating, I try it with accessories - in small doses and gradually adapt it into my clothes. I think that neon colors look absolutely stunning in handbags! Specially in structured handbags or oversized clutches. And they can do so much more to your outfit than be a sidekick! Here are some ways to use neon color handbag in your outfits.

To brighten a monochromatic outfit

To color block

To enhance the color tones of an outfit

To bring the prints and patterns together

And here I am, with a bright neon yellow bag - details of the outfit here

  1. Neon goes very well with pastels or any light colour like beige, I think ! The no. 4 combination is great!

  2. Neon is really difficult to pull of i have to agree with that, i must say that it does bring out the colors of an outfit or bring together different prints or even brighten up a dull outfit very well. i am not afraid to go neon i am afraid to go color blocking and this may sound crazy but even though i love to see girls rocking the color blocking trend i don't feel myself sporting an outfit full of colors, it somehow takes off the edgy feeling i want my outfits to have.
    have a great weekend girl.

  6. Thanks for stopping by and for your sweet comment. I absolutely ADORE Indian weddings and fashion. My closest friend who is also Indian got married last year in Chicago and the beautiful colors present at the wedding were heavenly. I'm Arab so we tend to have super flashy and colorful weddings as well so I totally relate. BTW, loving this post. Very informative. Looking forward to your next post. Don't be a stranger :)
