Fun Super Bowl Party DIYs With Rubbermaid and Sharpie

This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Rubbermaid and Sharpie but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #RubbermaidSharpie  http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO
I have to admit I grew up watching cricket. For me, soccer was football! But after moving to the US, I was introduced to the exciting world of tackles and touchdowns, quarterbacks and crazy fans, tailgating and halftime, and of course the Super Bowl! Getting together with friends on game day is great but if you are hosting and cooking for a crowd, it can be a little stressful. But with a little planning you can make it easy and add a lot of fun in your homegating!  For any get-together, I like the idea of snacks that can be prepared ahead of time and take very little effort to assemble. I found a great recipe for artichoke olive crostini here, and it was very easy to convert it into a game day snack.
You can keep the leftover artichoke-olive paste in a Rubbermaid container in the fridge for 2-3 days. Add it with your favorite pasta and sauteed vegetables to make healthy dinner. It also works great as a sandwich spread on whole grain pita bread with some fresh arugula and mozzarella cheese.
Now, the fun part of Super Bowl party. Making the beverage tags. You can involve your kids in drawing and coloring and get them excited for the Super Bowl (as if they aren't already!)
On a card stock paper, draw and cut out the shape of a football. Find the center of the tag and cut out another hole. This will make a wine glass tag. With a Sharpie, draw the football stitches. Your guests can write their names on their glasses.

For beer/soda/plastic cup tags, cut out the football shape, decorate it with a Sharpie and thread a yarn on the top of the tag (I use the darning needle, but a punch out hole will work too). Hang the tag on bottle necks or tie it around the cup.

Here is another fun idea to make sure people don't drive drunk. I mean, by now we all should know better!
For these DIYs, Rubbermaid and Sharpies are your best friends. I got mine from Target using the coupons to save money on both of these items. You can text COUPONS to TARGET on your cell phones and grab the $1 off Rubbermaid food storage coupon and the $1 off Sharpie 4 pack or larger.
How will you use Rubbermaid an Sharpie in your Super Bowl party?
