Sincerely Sweet - A Store After My Own Heart!

You know what, I am having the kid in the candy store moment! Except the candy store is a clothing boutique and kid is actually a woman grown! I recently came across the boutique Sincerely Sweet and instantly fell in love with their merchandise. Delectable colors, feminine details and classic designs of this family owned California based boutique will charm you too at first sight! I got this chiffon blouson dress from them that I can't get enough of! (If you don't know, blouson is a type of fit/shape where the bodice is loose fitting and waist position of the dress accentuates the narrowest part of the body - no wonder blouson fit is really hot right now!) It is the kind of dress that makes you feel beautiful from within! When I came out dressed up in this, my husband actually did a double take and I could detect the appreciative gleam in his eyes from a mile away! Interestingly, the name of this dress is Suburbian Rendezvous - although it is perfect for a city Rendezvous too! *wink*

The fabric of this dress drapes really beautifully, and accordion pleats are so very Parisian chic and move with the body flawlessly! The length is just perfect for me and the pastel color is perfect for the spring and summer.

When in Doubt Wear Black (And White)!

As much as I love color in my wardrobe, I can never get enough of black and white outfits! During the recent spring clean-up I realized I have a number of black and white dresses and blouses/skirts! This little number was hanging quietly in the closet among the colorful pieces, its simplicity reminding me why I reach for a black and white outfit when I really have no idea what to wear! This dress actually is made by the strips of printed satin cloth sewn into a net like gauge, and those strips create their own pattern! And because of that, no two dresses look the same! Clever- isn't it?

Chiffon Maxi Dress - A Summer Wardrobe Must- Have

Easy, breezy, feminine - and I don't need to suck in the tummy for pictures!! A well fitting yet easy on the mid riff dress - that is my summer wardrobe essential! This maxi dress I received via Sheinside.com fits the bill perfectly! The feminine lines, beautiful print, light-as-air chiffon material and pastel colors - it elegantly welcomes summer and all the fun of the season!! 

This dress has long thin straps and you can wear it in multiple ways - halter, criss-cross across the neck or simply tie the straps in a bow and wear it as a strapless dress just like I did.
