Style Trend To Try : Whimsical

I am loving today's outfit as it is the perfect mix of child like whimsy (playing princess in the snow!) and adult sophistication. Trends To Try: Intricate Embellishments

For past four weeks, I have been teaming up with Glam.com and U by Kotex® to promote 'Trends To try' Facebook contest by showcasing my take on the hottest fashion trends. The contest asks participants to submit their photos depicting their take on the weekly trends. Each week, Glam.com editorial team will pick one winner who will receive a $100 AMEX giftcard. From colorful faux furs to winter pastels to oversized outerwear, the trends challenge so far has been inspiring, interesting and so much fun. This week's trend is 'Intricate Embellishments' and it is my favorite trend so far!

I love the embellished details in an outfit - it gives the bling edge to any look and style. For this week's 'trends To Try' challenge, I used my embellished collar. It has chunky crystals embroidered on a piece of fabric. The ribbons make it easy to place and tie around the neckline of any top ! A 'detachable', versatile, inexpensive embellished accessory to dress up any Tshirt, sweater, sweatshirt and blouse and to make them party ready.
