Last week I had a chance to visit the Brooklyn Botanic Garden when cherry blossoms were at the peak bloom. As my parents are visiting us from India, it was a great opportunity to just hang out with them in a gorgeous, green setting, take in the nature's bounty- bright colors and lush fragrances (really, the Lilac gardens were like a perfume factory!) - and just relax on a warm, sunny day! Loved ones, laughter and a sense of beauty, what more do we need in life? :-)
