Lookbook : Polished Casual

How to wear printed pants, White Blazer Outfits, Tailored Blazer Outfits
A white blazer or a tailored jacket is a wardrobe workhorse. Wear it with jeans or a dress and you are easily put together no matter what the occasion is. White is my favorite as it goes seasons after seasons and never gets out of style!

Style Trend: Printed Denim

I got lucky last week! These printed denim from Lucky Brand was hiding in the clearance rack at TJMaxx and I found it! Marked down to $29 from original $119, this baby was just waiting to call my closet its home! I love its print and the comfortable fit and the knowledge that I scored a great deal makes this even prettier:-) Styled with a silk blouse (as I did here) or with a basic Tee, this jeans could be my new basic denim!
The constant rain last week made my hair cry! The perpetual frizz and the unruly waves were no match to the Andrea residue we had in east coast, and I weathered the (hair) storm the only way I know, tie 'em up!

Did you score any retail deal lately? I'd love to hear you favorite bargain shopping places.

Style Trend: Baroque Prints

Some have called this style Pajama Pants and the pattern Porcelain Print. I will stick with more elegant Baroque - thank you very much! Made widely popular by Gianni Versace in the 90s, the baroque prints are making a huge comeback (although they never completely went away!).
I found this pretty pair of pants (the blue is so very French!) at Forever 21 under $25! Rest of the outfit simply followed it!

If you want a skinnier version of Baroque print pants, Nine West, Joe's Jeans and Robert Rodriguez have them in very chic black and white!

Style Trend To Try - Floral and Printed Pants

Remember a sarcastic Miranda Priestly in Devil Wears Prada with her magazine staff - "Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking!" Well, obvious or not - here they come, florals in all their printed glory for Spring/Summer 2012! And this time they are showing up on an unexpected piece of clothing - pants! If florals are not your thing, you can try these über mod pants in a variety of patterns like tribal prints and Ikat patterns. In fitted pants, skinny jeans, capris and straightlegs - celebrities, street style stars and runway models all are putting their best (printed) foot leg forward!
