Lookbook : Cropped Wide Leg Pants + Stripes + Gucci Princetown Mules Dupes

Wide legged style and cropped length has been a really popular trend in pants and jeans for past couple seasons. I love wide legged style because it makes the waist look cinched-in and smaller. These raspberry red wide legged cropped chino is from last season at J.Crew , but this Spring also, they have good a pretty cool wide legged pants in red! (Also available here). I love to wear these sailor pants with nautical stripes for a preppy Spring/Summer look. 

These Kona Loafer Mules are probably one of the most worn pair of shoes in my closet last summer. This Gucci mule dupe is so comfortable and looks very chic for the fraction of the designer loafer cost! It is back in stock at Target and now comes in white too!

 I can't praise my Cult Gaia Bamboo Ark bag enough. This is super fun, chic carry all with surprisingly enough room for my wallet, keys and even sunglasses case! It is back in stock here and here! It's inexpensive dupe is also available here.

Lookbook: Stripe On Stripe

Nautical stripes are probably the easiest pattern for anybody to pull off. I love mixing stripes with florals, and polka dots but pairing black and white stripes with similar stripes create a fresh and pleasing to the eye look that I can never get tired of!

Lookbook : Retro With A Modern Twist

 There is something about a full skirted midi dress! I am not into vintage style that much, but the 50s housewife style full, voluminous skirts with conservative hemlines (they are making a huge comeback, BTW) steal my heart instantly. I love this eShakti dress ( I got it customized to add more length to the skirt) for the subtle drama of it - it wants your attention yet pretends to be demure, like a pretty girl who knows she is pretty, but doesn't want to admit it loudly, just waits smilingly for the public to acknowledge that! ;-)

Lookbook: Casual Spring Stripes

What can I say about nautical stripes that has not already been said? All I will say is that black and white stripes are my 'blindly grab it when in doubt' outfit. This LOFT T-shirt (on sale now!) is super comfortable, really soft and it goes with literally everything! With a black skinny jeans and cute flats, it is my ready-in-two-minutes and run the mommy errands outfit!
