Denim overalls. These two words bring forth the images of a farmer, painter or a cute 7 year old girl in pigtails! But if styled right, this unassuming piece of clothing can be a wardrobe staple for women over 30 too. I was not always a denim overall fan, but three years ago, I found these comfortable and chic denim overall at Express and realized I actually LOVE this trend! Because denim overall have little bit of masculine vibe, I like to pair it with a feminine top or blouse. This oxford striped poplin top was an inexpensive find at Marshall's for under $20 and I love the statement making sleeves of it! I think there is no "rule" in fashion and you do you - for me, super distressed overalls won't work for me (and in my opinion, women in 30s or 40s). If you are on Denim Overall trend wagon, here are some of the overalls I love.

Lookbook : Bold, Colorful Graphic Stripe Dress
Continuing with the Spring Dresses, today lets talk about statement making, graphic, colorful stripes! love this geometric stripe pattern, feminine cut and and in-your-face bold colors of this dress. Reminds me of psychedelic 70s print and I love the retro vibe of it. The halter style with a pretty bow at the neck makes it very feminine and girly - a look I always welcome:-). This particular dress is unfortunately sold out but I've rounded up some of my favorite bold, graphic stripe pattern dresses below.

Lookbook : Bold Floral Print Blouse
Bold, vibrant, riotous flower print can put anybody in happy mood. Specially during the change of season and even more so for Spring. I love floral print all year around but there is something special about taking out a feminine, romantic floral print out for a spin on a beautiful Spring day. This J.Crew Vintage Floral Print silk blouse always makes me smile whenever I look at it hanging in my closet. This is from last season but this year also, there are very pretty floral blouses in stores to choose from. Below are some of my favorites!
A denim skirt is also one of the most versatile pieces you can have in your wardrobe - it transitions well within seasons and looks timeless. I love the front button style (last seen here) but also thinking to get a denim skirt with asymmetrical front slit or a-line style as well. Here are some of the denim skirts I like.
The Cult Gaia Ark bag has been crazy popular bag for Spring/Summer for past 3 years or so (No wonder its call CULT!) and shows no sign of slowing down. In fact, they add different materials for this bag every season (I am so in love with this Cult Gaia Ark in brass!). And like any other super popular product, there are many lookalikes and copies available for this bag also.

Lookbook: Neutrals for Spring
I love a blue jeans and white/cream top combination any given day. Its very laid back yet there is understated sophistication in it. I wore this neutral look to stay warm and comfortable when the temperature hit 46 degrees. Adding my Stuart Weitzman Tieland boots (on sale right now) and Gucci belt in petina leather made it little more 'dressy' for a press preview I had NYC (more on that coming soon). This sweater is probably one of my most used sweater this winter. It has a braided 'Hello' embroidered on the front. I got it from TJMaxx and its not available in white , but I this is available in pretty blue color here for under $30!
My husband must have said something funny while he was taking my pictures.:-)
