Jackson Pollock, Color Inspiration And Cobalt Blue

One of the most addictive websites I found over the years does not have any 'social media' angle. It does not have buttons, does not require an account to use, does not even look the same every time I use it. It is a website based on legendary painter Jackson Pollock's art and abstract expressionism. It lets you create your own masterpiece using 'drip paint' method. I discovered it almost 5 years ago and got hooked to it!! In following years, I used it to teach my daughter colors and computer mouse movement, and created some beautiful art with her. I still love it and use it to feel refreshed, to feel creative, and to get inspiration on days when I have no idea what to blog about! Today's post is inspired by the cobalt blue color drip of jacksonpollock.org Go ahead, spill some paint - its no mess at all!!!

  4. Fashion always takes its inspiration from art. Art takes its inspiration from nature. I adore this vibrant shade of Blue.

  6. This is my favorite color for this season! It's one of the few brighter colors I can pull off. I also love the colorblocking trend with cobalt blue and kelly green.

  7. What an awesome collection. The great thing about this color is that anyone can wear it well. Those color blocked shoes are my favorites.
