Style Trend - Cool Pullovers

Winters will be packing up soon, bye bye down jackets. But early spring chill needs some cozy layering and woolen warmth. The answer - versatile pullovers! The comfort, style and cool attitude of a pullover has always been in fashion. Layer it with a trench, wrap a scarf around or just wear it on its own , a pullover is a Spring essential. I love to pair up a fabulous pullover or sweater with rolled - cuff jeans and pumps or a skinny jeans and comfortable flats. So what are you waiting for, pull one over!

Spring Dressing With Asymmetrical Hems

It's a cape, it's a dress, it's a top with a train?? Let us discuss that one piece in the wardrobe which is too long to be a blouse, but too short to be a dress, a piece of clothing stuck between beautiful and weird, a closet- adolescent, waiting to grow up to a full outfit! This flowy chiffon asymmetrical blouse (from Romwe.com)  fits the bill! I wore this with a fitted skirt here, and honestly, did not pay much attention to it for a long time. Today it is out again with a skinny jeans (from Liverpool Jeans)  and a bold necklace and I think I like the results! Awkward no more, it is my colorful couture today, heralding Spring!

The perfect fit' for your behind! Uneven hem, unparalleled style! Striped glamour for your soles! Make a statement!

Lip Colors For 2013

Deep, rich, little bit mysterious and a whole lotta sexy - that seems to be the lipstick memo this year. During New York Fashion Week, I saw a number of designers opting for the dark, enigmatic colors of burgundy, maroon, deep russet and claret for the lips.
Tadashi Shoji sought inspiration from the ladies of Russian nobility wandering in the snow just before the fall of the empire, their lips frozen and bloodshot, but beautiful nonetheless. Vera Wang paid tribute to classic construction and drapery with her clothes and the sophisticated style of modern woman with oxblood red lips for her models. Oscar de la Renta fall 2013 show had Karlie Kloss sporting almost bruised deep deep burgundy lips.

Would you sport a wine soaked look on your lips? I might give it a try!

Old Navy Kids And Baby Sale : So Much To Love!

Our family is an Old Navy shopper. Even before I had Mili, my little daughter, I used to find myself at Old Navy a lot. I mean, A LOT!! Reason being Old Navy's absolutely trendy and cool style and the great prices and sales! So when I was contacted by Old Navy to explore their super amazing kids and baby sale, my response was - you don't even have to ask!
I went to the Midtown location of Old Navy at 34th and 7th and stocked up on the Spring/Summer staples for my little one! The one thing that struck me about the kids (specially little girls collection) is that the clothes are so chic and sophisticated. They have expanded the pink and frilly style you usually find for little girls in any kids' store, and added such cool colors as grey, navy, chartreuse, Irish green, mustard yellow and neon to make your little sweetheart's Spring wardrobe stand out - and best thing, you don't even need to spend that much. Most pieces were under $20! The T shirts are $8-$10, sprig dresses are &10-$12, the comfortable and chic ballet flats in striped patterns are just &14! If you have not been to Old Navy lately, I strongly suggest you go today and take advantage of their amazing kids and baby sale!

There are plenty of layered looks you can create with mix and match pieces that your buck even stretches further! Who doesn't love that?? Here are some of the layered looks we created with a floral print skinny jeans and striped ballet flats in navy.

Isn't this dog with a polka dot bow the most adorable thing??

I am so in love with the graphic t shirt and the cute, beautiful illustraions absolutely perfect for a little girl!!

In the end, a happy mama and happy kid! Thanks Old Navy!!
